BREACHING WHALES

Artist: James Seaman
“Breaching Whales” was created by artist James Seaman in 2010. They are stainless steel filled with concrete; the large blue eyes are handmade out of glass. Seaman started wanting to create an iconic “whale tail” and was so pleased with the outcome, decided to continue building the head of another whale breaching out of the water. The two sections combined together suggest motion as the whales interact. The sculpture is 6’ 3” tall x 10’ wide x 14’ deep.
