Ilion Native, Maureen Carney Joins Mohawk Valley EDGE

(ROME, NY – January 12, 2012) The Mohawk Valley Economic Development Growth Enterprise has hired Herkimer County native, Maureen Carney as an Accountant to the organization. She will report directly to Julianne Cardone, Chief Financial Office.

Carney graduated from SUNY Institute of Technology in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She joins EDGE with four-years of Accounting experience; working in a financial setting.

Mohawk Valley EDGE is a vertically integrated economic development organization that assists businesses in Oneida and Herkimer Counties. EDGE promotes the Mohawk Valley’s people, work force, quality of life, infrastructure, sites, and everything else the region has to offer businesses, site selection specialists and industrial developers. Linking the area’s economic development organizations to streamline projects, we customize financing and assistance packages to help companies interested in locating or expanding their operations and job base in Oneida and Herkimer Counties.
