Green Tours – 6:30 PM

6/22 Green and “LEED” Building @Griffiss Institute , 725 Daedalian St., Griffiss Park , [tour starts on first floor].

Architect Tim Ebner of Bonacci Architects will describe the green technology that was designed into the facility. He’ll also help us to understand the LEED certification process by going through a checklist of qualifying green features.

Mark Reynolds, Senior Vice President of Planning and Development for Mohawk Valley EDGE will explain the how and why LEED was chosen as the way to go for the building.

Richard Morris, President of Energy Users Consulting Services will give an overview of LEED and its goals. A tour of the facility will commence after the speakers.

Lastly, there will be educational handouts and product literature from area companies available. Follow the Griffiss Institute signs and join us for an interesting and educational evening.
