Once a Cold War Era Air Force installation, the 3,200 Acre Griffiss Business and Technology Park has been transformed into a vibrant and diverse regional hi-tech employment center that includes the Griffiss International Airport. Griffiss is currently home to more than 75 employers and nearly 5,900 employees from over 20. A major part of Griffiss’ employer base consists of national and local technology firms that are directly involved with the Air Force Research Laboratory – a $1.4 billion economic and research engine at the center of the Park.
